Late getting this in but my thoughts are with Leslie and Karen and the grandkids.
Your Dad was the oldest in my generation of cousins and we all looked up to him. After years of having no contact with him, I happened to see him outside one day in his front yard in the early-mid 2000's. I was in Chapel Hill fo my annual trip from Charlotte to visit my parents grave and drive by my childhood home, ec. I decided to drive by the Blake 'compound" on Hickory Dr. I stayed for a while and he caught me up on his life and gave me a tour of his home. I have many memories of visiting next door at your grandparents ( where Karen lives now.) We were 12 years apart in age but were both only children in our Dads family unit so we always had that in common. Although I did not get to see him again until our Uncle Jimmy passed away I am so grateful that we connected years earlier
Rest in Peace cousin Billy. Enjoy your rounds of golf in heaven !

Dear Karen, Leslie and Family. I was proud to call Bill Blake my Cousin! He was actually more like a Uncle to me as you know. I will miss his stories about my parents and i know he is being reunited with all love ones we have lost along the way. NO MORE PAIN is comforting to help heal through the tough times we have to face. Love the Blake's
