Recently I learned the sad news of Dale's passing. Dale and I were friends and classmates. He was a polite, sweet and gentle soul. My condolences to the family, God Bless.

Dale and I were in High School together. I want to share with Dale’s family a memory I have of him. Dale had Mike Preslar in 5th period and Dale and I shared English 6th period. As loves can happen, Dale became the person to help promote that. Mike ,his teacher, would give him a note to bring to me in 6th period. That went on from March until we graduated in June. Since Mike was a teacher and I was a senior, it was so taboo. And you know Dale never told anyone about those notes and Mike and I were married the summer of ‘64. Those notes gave Dale and I a very special friendship. I know you will hear many wonderful stories about him, this is just one of them. May God walk with you in the difficult days ahead. RIP my friend!!
