Dear Ann Marie, Scott and Sean,
I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Michael's passing. We have so many fond memories of the kids playing with Michael, after school, sledding down the hill behind your house on snow days or going to a waterpark. I am deeply, deeply saddened to hear of Michael's passing. My heart breaks as I watch the memorial video and remember the happy, athletic child I knew and loved. I was Michael's (and Sean's) P.E. teacher at Mary Scroggs Elementary School and have nothing but good memories of my time with both Arcure boys. May you lean on your faith in God and on each other during this difficult time. Please know that you are prayed for and that I am hoping that you may find solace in knowing that Michael is in a better place.

Death is described in the Bible as our enemy. Thankfully, one day soon this enemy will be done away with. (1 Corinthians 15:26) What is more, Jesus told of the hope laid before those who are now sleeping in the grave. He said at John 5:28, 29 that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Your beloved Michael now rests, awaiting that call.
