As a kid, I grew up in the Anderson house on Mayhew Ave. in Larchmont, as much as I did my own. The Doc taught Michael and I baseball, together, and I learned so much about love and kindness from this wonderful, loving man, he will always be in my heart. His love, kindness and compassion will live on in every single person whose life he touched. This world will be the lesser without him, but so much better for him having been here.

I remember Dr. Anderson mainly through his kids Candy and Michael. Their family was a result of loving, open minded, smart parents. My Mother Marybob admired Arthur and would hold him up as a good example. When I moved to Washington State I learned that he was born here. I had my first legal beer at Spud and Elma's in Olympia. Condolences to the Anderson clan. Another of the greatest generation is now history.

So sorry for your loss. Arthur was a dear brother in law. He was a joy to visit with and always interested in what you were up to in life. He lived his life with gusto, always getting the most out of it. He will be missed. I look forward to visiting with him again in Heaven!
