Obituary of Virginia May Dice

Virginia May (Grosklos) Dice, 82, of Saltsburg, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 in UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, NC, while visiting her son’s family.

Born June 5, 1936 in Vandergrift, she was a daughter of the late Paul J. & Margaret A. (Hutchinson) Grosklos.

Virginia was a graduate of Saltsburg High School. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and baking. She was also an avid reader. Virginia most loved spending time with her family, and going to her family’s sporting events.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Dice; and her son, Christopher W. Dice.

Virginia is survived by her children; C. Wayne (Paula) Dice of Apex, NC, Liane (Gregory) Dice Shaulis of Saltsburg, and Melissa M. (Dice) Stitt of Saltsburg; grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Koffman, Danielle King, Donald Stitt, Cortney (Dice) Nall, Allison Stitt, Tyler Dice, Kerri Dice, and Travis Dice; great grandchildren, Nicolas Koffman, Hanna Koffman, Reese Dice, Georgia Nall; and her sister, Margaret “Peggy” Pierce of Indiana, PA.

At Virginia’s request, all services are private, with interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, at the convenience of the family.
