I was so fortunate to be befriended by Clay, a man of broad interests and wonderful insights. I will so miss our regular lunches -- sometimes three hours long -- that delved into so many areas -- religion, archeology, myth, football, travel. I've lost a good friend. We've all lost a smart, gentle and kind man.
