Becki, Sara & family: I visited Gayle about 1 week ago for quite a while at Edgewood. Even though she wasn’t feeling that well she had that beautiful smile on her face and we sat and talked about when mom was her roommate and the good times they had together. We talked about Our Lord and & Savior and how wonderful He was too us all. There was never a visit that we had that Jesus wasn’t in our conversation. I pray that someone who doesn’t know the Lord will accept Him into their lives during the ceremony of Gayle on Sunday. This would complete her work on earth. I know that Our Lord Jesus Christ will wrap His arms around each of you during this time and the days and weeks ahead. Just remember all the memories each of you had and cry when you need to because that is tears of remembering Gayle during this sad time but also tears of happiness in all the love she shared with each one of you in her own special way. God took her home to a place He built for us who know Him and I will again have the privilege of seeing her again in this wonderful amazing place called Our Final Address, HEAVEN. Gayle you fought a beautiful life down on your temporary home and NOW YOU ARE FREE OF ALL YOUR PAIN. Becki you and Sara will carry the love of all the wonderful amazing times you had traveling the halls of Brookwood. We have known Gayle about 20 years after moving from Durham NC to Prospect Hill NC & finding the Mt Adar Baptist Church family. She was a big part of our congregation & always thinking of ways to reach out to the unchurched & shutins. We are going to miss her so much but are glad that she is “free” from the body that held her captive & with Our Lord Jesus Christ.
