Dennis and I sat next to each other for 8 months at work in 2018. In that time, we became good friends, often having lunch and going for coffees together. I cherish those times with Dennis. He was a kind, caring friend whose razor sharp wit and humor lifted my spirits on many occasions. I will miss him dearly as will anyone who knew him. I wish his family all the strength in the world to handle the sorrow from this loss.

I had the pleasure of living with Dennis in Brooklyn for a little over 2 years, and will miss our end of day chats in the kitchen as we each made dinner -- mostly me talking Dennis' ear off as he would listen patiently, but giving me the right advice when I needed it. Dennis was as genuine as they come. To say he was always down for anything, at any time, would be an understatement, and I hope to someday be as open minded to the world as Dennis.

I will really miss Dennis. He was fun and caring. I remember having a headache or allergies myself and he noticing and offering help. Or, going to lunch and laughing about silly jokes. Too sudden, too soon, but I got the feeling he is in a good place.

I was lucky enough to work with Dennis for almost six years. Dennis was the kindest and most generous person - he was never too busy to help when asked. While not saying much, he impacted so many. He brought ideas to life and his designs defined how our clients saw us from Millennial to AOL to Oath to Verizon Media. He was our design ninja, our quiet rock, our friend and he will be terribly missed.

I can’t believe it. I worked with Dennis at Time Inc and then Millennial and VZM and he was always there with a smiling face and a laugh. He was a great designer and really nice person. You will be missed Dennis.

I was lucky enough to have worked with Dennis for 4+ years. Not only was he so talented and kind, which most remember of him, but what some didn’t know was how funny he was. We would just giggle by our desks over seemingly silly things. His kindness was to a fault, and I will remember all of our coffee runs and our favorite Thai restaurant. He will be so deeply missed!

I was fortunate to work with Dennis, so I want to give his family a glimpse into his work life. Dennis was a fantastic teammate that was valued on any project he worked on. He was a gifted designer and was able to use graphics and organize stories in a way to help audiences understand often complex processes and products (digital advertising is very technical). His work was very impactful. Hopefully he shared with his family that he won a major award last year. This recognition is a really big deal at our company and only 4 people are awarded each quarter, standing out amongst a number of well-earned nominations. I imagine his family and friends cherished his warm smile and gentle demeanor and I can attest that he shared his positivity at work as well. It was always great to see him on a video call, always with a smile and ready to contribute a great idea. I am proud to have worked with Dennis and grateful I got to know him a little. I wish his family and friends the comfort of happy memories of such a wonderful person.
