Mary Alice was the mother of my best friend in high school, Carolyn Robinson Allen. I have so many fond memories of Mary Alice - or Mrs. Robinson, as I called her. One thing that stands out is how she always looked put together. Her hair was always styled and she would wear a nice outfit - even if she was just staying at home keeping us teenagers out of trouble! She opened her home to me more times than I can count. She and Mr. Robinson even let me tag along on family trips and vacations. I will always be grateful for her kindness and hospitality.
As the matriarch of three generations, Mary Alice's passing leaves a great void. It is my prayer that the treasured memories of her will be a source of comfort for the family. And may they experience God's presence as He wraps His arms around them and provides strength for the days ahead.
With my deepest sympathy,
Jan Summey Hemby
