I remember when I lived in Eden, NC.When a storm had blew off some of the shingles on the roof.
Bobby didn't hesitate to drive from Hillsboro to put on a new roof. He refused to take any
money. This was a total act of kindness.
My father died when I was young. Bobby never had any children of his own. He loved Glenda and Elaine as his own, and treated me like a son.
The last time I talked to Bobby on the phone, we talked about old times. I'd tell a few jokes and he'd say, "Danny you're crazy" and he would just laugh.
Although he has past over the bridge of troubled waters, he has sailed into the arms of God.
Bobby and Lou, are probably singing, "Amazing Grace."
Peace and love to the family,
Danny Evans
