Obituary of Juanita Godfrey Smith

HILLSBOROUGH - Mrs. Juanita Godfrey Smith of Efland, formerly of Hillsborough. She passed away at UNC Hospitals Thursday, December 20, 2012. Juanita is survived by one son Robert Emory Smith, three grandsons, John William Smith (Tracy) of Efland, Scott Emory Smith of Efland, and Brian Jennings Smith (Bridgette) of Hillsborough. She has eight great grandchildren, one sister, Joyce Godfrey, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Willliam Smith, father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Emory W. Godfrey, two brothers, E. W. Godfrey, Jr. and Mann Godfrey, sister, Margaret G. Willliams, and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Cross Roads Baptist Church. Rev. Bruce Brown will officiate the service. Visitation will be at the church starting at 1 PM before the funeral. Burial will be in Cross Roads Cemetery. www.walkersfuneralservice.com
