Byrd and I grew up as best friend from the fourth grade through graduation of high school. I was also a critical care RN. I spent many fun days on the Jervey farm growing up. We both had our noses burrowed in books. I am so sorry for your loss, in her picture she looked as she did growing up. I'm am so glad she had such a successful life and family. Karen Tribble

On behalf of the staff at AID Atlanta I want to express our deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Q as we affectionately called her. Dr. Q has been a tremendous support to AID Atlanta and our Healthcare center staff in helping to improve the quality and care of our patients. She was a strong tower of support during this COVID 19 pandemic and helped us to get through it by providing sound advice using the science and her keen clinical knowledge of infection control. I could always text her and she would get back to me immediately to provide support. We were sad to hear of her passing, and wish her soul a peaceful rest. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this time of grief. Just want you to know she was appreciated by many who worked with and for her. Although I did not know, Dr. Quinlivan, Personally, Her story brought a feeling of appreciation and gratitude for the selfless work she has done through out her career. I also work for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and I would've liked to meet her. We definitely need more people like her in this world. My condolences go out to her loved ones. May she rest in peace.
