I am deeply saddened by Bob's untimely death and wanted of offer my deepest condolences to the family. I met and worked with Bob at the EPA over the last 2 years and feel fortunate to have known him. He was such a wonderful, caring person and the definition of a team player. When I joined the team at the start of a new contract, he was very welcoming and friendly. Being new, I had so many questions about the work this new team did. He was so knowledgeable and was always responsive. He went out of his way to teach and help me understand. He was someone you could depend on, my "go to" person. I will miss his warm morning greetings, his smiling face and that head of curly hair. I have experienced the sudden loss of a loved one and know accepting a loved ones death is hard but an unexpected one is much harder. May you take all the time you need to grieve and find peace in your loving memories. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time. God Bless Nancy Thomas

Hello Joyce, Pete, Steve, Tim, & Dan, I just heard today about Bob's passing. I'm gutted - and I am so sorry for your loss. I heard from him a few weeks ago and it seemed like things were really looking up for him. The obit made me smile - SO many times I said, "your poor mother". :) Many good memories around music and films, D&D, and trips to the Ponderosa steakhouse. We have stayed in touch since 5th grade...
