I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Patton's passing. I had the privilege of working at Patton Boggs for nearly 40 years. Mr. Patton was an inspiration to many and never forgot the support staff or their contributions to his firm's success. I have wonderful memories of both he and Mary from working relationships, to picnics at their home, to very extravagant Christmas Parties for the firm employees, to acknowledgements of loyalty. His radiant smile offset only by his vibrant blue eyes and white hair. After such a wonderful life, may he rest in peace. I extend my sincere sympathy to all his family, friends and colleagues. I was saddened to hear of Jim’s passing Monday. Fortunately Lori and i had recently visited Jim and had great conversation as always. After moving to Durham i was blessed to spend time with Jim at family gatherings and dinners and always enjoyed sharing our man stories. I found Jim to be quite knowledgeable on many subjects and was always impressed speaking with Jim. I grew very fond of Jim and I will miss him . Rest in Peace Jim
