Obituary of Carlis Marie Laws
Carlis Marie Dillehay Laws, age 71 years, of Oxford, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Carver Rehabliltation & Living Center in Durham.
Carlis was born in Durham County, North Carolina on Wednesday August 31, 1949. She was raised in Carrboro by her parents the late Stewart Preston Dillehay and the late Florence Mildred Brown Dillenhay. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Pete Laws and her brother-in-law Bobby Padgett.
She is survived by her brother Stewart Dillehay and wife Cindy, sister Phyillis Padgett, niece Lori Tuck and husband Reginald Tuck Sr., nephew Stewart Dillenhay lll and wife Cassidy, grand-niece Cheyenne, grand-nephew Trey Moore and Zury, grand-nephew Reginald Tuck Jr., great-grand-nephew Kaiden Moore.
A Graveside Service will be on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Westwood Cemetery in Carrboro.
