Obituary of Nalda Haithcock Scarlette

Nalda Haithcock Scarlette was born in Durham, NC on February 8, 1935 the daughter of Fonnie and Stella Haithcock.  She was employed as a bookkeeper and insurance specialist at Watts Hospital and Durham Radiology for many years. She loved  all sports and enjoyed supporting her favorite teams from local to national. She also was devoted to rescuing various pets. 

Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Haithcock Hall and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Clayton Lewis Haithcock and Norman Wright Haithcock.

A graveside service was held at 11:00 am on December 18 at the Hillsborough Town Cemetery with Pastor Mark Hall officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Duke Hospice, 4023 Roxboro Road, Durham.  Condolences for the family may be left online at www.walkersfuneralservice.com
