I was so sorry to hear of your devastating loss of dear Parker. Your Shrine family surrounds you with love and support during this difficult time. It was an honor to be able to attend his memorial service online and learn of the wonderful man he had become. I'm going to join you in treasuring his memory and focusing on the bright light he brought to everyone.
Dorothy Babbage (I was the Computer Teacher at Shrine Grade School.)

Parker was a sweet, loyal, kind and caring young man. I cannot imagine a world without him in it; losing him has made everything darker. My prayers will be with his family, and I will think of him always until we meet again. Rest In Peace. “Good Night, Sweet Prince, and flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest.”—-Shakespeare

I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying the God of all comfort helps you at this difficult time.
(2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus told us to pray for God’s Kingdom because the Bible promises it will do away with death. (Revelation 21:4,5 & Daniel 2:44).

Our family has nothing but fond memories of Parker while attending Shrine Grade School. Our son Michael was friends with him and he would occasionally come to our house. On one occasion Michael and Parker were playing outside with Michael's bb gun and they were near my bird feeders. I was watching them from our upstairs, saw Parker cock the gun and go for his aim. Within seconds the chickadee dropped to the ground. Parker was so upset with himself he started to cry. I acted like I was angry but was really laughing inside. Parker and Michael buried the bird and everything was good. I remember how he was always fun and loved sports and hunting. I cant begin to tell you how saddened we are over this loss and will continue to pray for Parker and all of your family. I have such nice memories of your whole family and know how close you all are. Our deepest condolences are with you and I pray your family can help each other through this time. RIP Parker!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the DuBois and Parker. I haven’t seen Parker since 5th grade at Shrine, but he was the most athletic kid I knew, and he always knew how to make me laugh. He motivated me to play football at a young age, and while we haven’t spoken in a long time, I still share amazing memories of him. My heart goes out to Parker during this time.

If there was a single word to describe Parker, it would be charismatic. Parker had this beautiful ability to make everybody smile. His goofy antics and silly dances could make anybody smile. He was the best version of a center of attention, the kind of person you don’t mind being in the spotlight; a collector of people. Parker’s soul does not go unrecognized or unappreciated; there is a truly a void in everybody’s lives without him. There is no other person in this world who comes close or compares to him. He is the the purest, most genuine person, and we are all better people having known him.
“Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.”
Psalm 71:20-21
