Obituary of Violet Edmonds McCullock

HILLSBOROUGH - Mrs. Violet Edmonds McCullock, 79, died peacefully at her home Sunday Morning. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Columbus D. Edmonds, Sr. and Rosie Jones Edmonds. Violet was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and loved to bake for friends and relatives, and always caring for others' needs. The family would like to give special thank yous to hospice, nurses, and all her caregivers who were by her side. Mrs. McCullock is survived by her two granddaughters, Melony and Bailey McCullock of Graham and a sister Bettie E. Edwards of Butner. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred McCullock and her son, Don McCullock of Cedar Grove. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery Tuesday, December 4th, by Rev. Fredrick Bunts.
