Condolences to the Crawford family. Weekends at the skating rink were some of my best memories. Mr. And Mrs. Crawford gave a lot to the kids in Hillsborough and there were a lot of grateful parents and kids for providing a fun and safe place to hang out at. Thanks to your parents for all they did.

My memories of Aunt Lydia: Free-flowing Pepsi and snow cones from the concessions counter at the skating rink, the smell of chopped onions and fresh buttered popcorn, a busy whirring of pink and blue cotton candy; an occasional ice pack if anyone needed one. Always encouraging, her words were true and gentle - her chocolate pies were famous. A celebrated, long and productive life of love, support, and service to others, always cool and collected, thoughtful, happy, smiling, peaceful ...
now resting with our Lord.
With loving memories,
Cheryl Woods

Prayers and condolences for Mrs. Crawford's family. Mrs. Crawford was a mother figure to all of us who grew up roller skating in Hillsborough at the roller rinks that her and Mr. Crawford ran.
