Such a lovely woman! Patty and Gary we’re wonderful neighbors and always so concerned for others. Patty was a bright light in this world. Her joy was infectious and her smile would light up room! Our family was very blessed to have Patty so close by.

She was a dollmaking sister. I met Patty a few years back while several of us gathered to create. I really loved her enthusiasm and the genuine interest she took in learning about me as a newbie to the group. We will miss you and your energy dear Patty.

Frank and I enjoyed being neighbors and speak fondly of Patty and her grace. She always remembered to ask for our daughter Carolyn (almost the same as her Caroline!) and wanted to keep up with her news. She was also a great supporter of women's golf at CHCC--grateful for her continued participation while I was actively involved. Our hearts go out to all of her family and in particular Gary.

Patty Hill would have made a great hairdresser. I would have hired her on the spot! She knew just how much to give and Just how much to listen to, and receive. Most of the time it was more important for her to receive than for her to give. We would trade stories back-and-forth over the many years and I consider her one of my very dear friends. As most hairdressers , I was privy to so many delightful accounts of the whole family in general. What a wonderful, spectacular group you all are! I dare say she had a life well lived, well laughed, certainly well loved, and she lives on through all of you. I will miss you my friend . Shamie

Robert and our family are so sorry to hear of the death of Patty. She was such a sweet and fun person. All the fun East Chapel Hill Rotary Parties were so fun "back in the day." One of the best party memories comes to mind when Gary, Sr. sang with the NoTones to her. The wonderful Christmas parties your family hosted in your lovely home were always so elegant. Also, I got to know her as a mother at St Thomas More School as well and she was such a dedicated mother and she was such an asset to help the school. We are so very saddened for the family and our hearts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. With love, Robert and Judy Oakes

Gigi - Thank you for all the love you poured into us and our children. They are heartbroken and I know it’s because of how much you loved them and the way you made them feel when they were with you. Gary and Family It saddened me greatly to learn of Patty’s passing. A true beautiful lady inside and out....As a bright spot here on earth fades an angel entered Heaven. Patty was a beautiful genuine lady. I did not know her well, however when I did see her she would always go out of her way to talk and make me feel welcome.
