Edna and Glen were my life long contact with Cedar Grove. Glen was the best sportsman I ever played against. When Edna came into the picture she was exactly what I thought Glen would pick. I miss them already. Rest In Peace, Edna. John Kennedy

I have wonderful memories of Edna at Caswell Beach and our talks on the "cross over" to the beach. We sat on the bench and she told about her life on the Hillsborough farm and her daughters. Her stories were so interesting and rich. She will be missed by neighbors here. My sympathies to the Caruthers family, and also the Methodist church and Hillsborough families, who also treasured Edna.

My remembrance of Edna is of a most graceful, gracious woman, wife and mother. The Watkins reunions on the back lawn when I was growing up are some of my most pleasant memories! She will be missed by all the girls and grandchildren but never forgotten. My love to all of the family as her beautiful life is celebrated. Patricia Shaw Holden
