.We met Paul some time after we moved to NC from California in 1979. He was the *Footnotes editpor & he quickly enlisted Burke as his replacement. We can't exaggerate his importance in our lives. When we sold Marv's Bavaria, we made sure Paul could adopt our "Senior 6" license plate for his old BMW. As we aged & bsacked off from our BMW activities, we still treasured our occasional meetings. We loved him and are so sorry foe his passing. Marv & Burke Jensen

Chris and Paul, Courtenay, Baylor, Lowrey and I are saddened by the loss of your father and our friend. "Amazing Paul" was like a brother to me and like an uncle to my girls. As you know our friend G,B, and I were very fortunate to have had lunch with Paul last week. Sitting here today I can only think that our final visit was a gift from God. There are so many "Amazing Paul" stories to tell that range from serious to laugh-out-loud - but, too many to share here. He was without a doubt the smartest man I ever knew. I'll miss him. Paul was truly one of the most unforgettable and expressive people we've ever met. Always smiling, he had a wonderful gift of gab which he so easily tranferred to print. It just seemed to flow from his enthusiasm, especially when it had to do with anything automotive. Hard to believe we've known him for 48 years; One of the people we always looked forward to seeing...so difficult to realize that he's gone from this world. Hopefully, we'll get together in the next.
