Obituary of Annie Williams Mitchell

HAW RIVER - Mrs. Annie Laura Williams Mitchell, 84, of Haw River died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell. Mrs. Mitchell was born on September 29, 1927 in Warren County, NC, daughter of the late Edward Owen and Annie Mae Neal Williams and wife of the late Ernest Vance Mitchell, Jr. She was a retired nurse and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She is survived by her son: Cecil O. Mitchell and wife, Kathy of Burlington; daughter: Anne M. Blackwell and husband, Jimmy of Burlington; brother: Robert Williams of Manchester, TN; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survives. Funeral services will held 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Faith Baptist Church by Mike Walker. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 till 3:45 at the church prior to the services.
