The one funny memory I have of Aunt Mary is the times we would go to Ocean Isle Beach. We would drive down from Raleigh & would have to make potty breaks & she would say we need to go out in the “Giggley Weeds”. She called them that because they would make you giggle. Many fond memories of her at OIB. She will be missed.

The best memory I have was when we were. Hold ten crabbing off of Sheffield dock at OIB. A big blue crab got ahold of aunt Mary’s thumb or finger pretty good and drew blood. All we had to clean the wound with was beer! We poured beer on her finger wrapped it up and kept on crabbing!! And she cooked the crab up!! Love her dearly! She will be sorely missed!
