Obituary of Linda Susan Thompson

Linda Thompson passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2020 just five days after her 66th birthday. She lived at Our Lady of Peace in Charlottesville, VA where she made several new friends who enjoyed her company as much as she enjoyed theirs. She was born in Augusta, GA the first daughter of Thomas A. Thompson, Jr and Adilia Aguilar Thompson.

She joins the entire company of angels in heaven including her father, mother, brothers Patrick William Thompson (Bill), Thomas Edward Thompson (Tommy), Michael Anthony Thompson (Mike) and Antonio Lee Thompson.

Linda is survived by one brother, Robert James Thompson (Bobby), and four sisters, Katherine Elliott, Betty Aguilar, Tammy Cooper and Kim Thompson Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Linda never married or had children of her own but she treasured her close relationships with her family and life-long friends in Virginia Beach.

She was an avid video gamer and nieces, nephews and friends loved to hang out with her and join in the laughter and fun. She loved scary movies with whoever would watch them with her. Her favorite thing to do in her later years was puzzling, which she was amazingly good at completing. She loved music, especially classic rock, but her favorite time was spent with family. Any chance she could spend with her mom which was often, she was happy! They were as close as two peas in a pod.

We will all miss her, cherish her memory and are thankful that she is reunited with Mom & Dad.
