CLEVE - GOOD MAN, GOOD BUSINESSMAN
Cleve was a good friend, an HONEST businessman, of few words. He was from a time, when the president of UNC-Chapel Hill walked down the street, both would greet each other with a "hey -- good morning, how are you?"
Cleve worked in a complex business that is fraught with technical and human issues. He always did his best, worked productively, and HONESTLY earned the respect of the community.
He did what a man is supposed to do, to work fruitfully and deal with people fairly, to be a good family man, and pay taxes. Cleve helped many working people to keep their cars running, so the worker could support their families with dignity and respect.
He enjoyed "old-time" country music. He loved the USA, Fords, and Dodges. Many mini-van repairs.
Cleve was very proud of how smart his grandsons are. He bravely faced up to the difficulties of multiple organ treatments, never wavering in what had to be done.
Rest in peace, Cleve. You earned it.
