Obituary of Kyle James Higgins

OBITUARY FOR KYLE J. HIGGINS

Kyle James Higgins passed away in his home on April 2, 2023, in Hillsborough, NC due to complications following a long term illness.

Kyle was born on June 18, 1985, in Glendale, AZ, to his parents George and Kathy Higgins. He graduated from Cedar Ridge High School in Hillsborough and attended college at East Carolina University, NC. Kyle lived in several states while his parents were in the United States Air Force before moving to Hillsborough in 1999.  Kyle worked in the restaurant business on the Outer Banks until returning home to Hillsborough.

Kyle was known for his unique outlook on life and sense of humor.  He readily supported others and was known for creating smiles, laughter and joy. He enjoyed learning languages, the beach and being with friends and family.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Hillsborough, NC; his brothers Sean Higgins and his wife Micah, Kernersville, NC; and brother Neil Higgins, St Louis, MO; his two nephews Lincoln and Oliver.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

A celebration of Kyle’s life is being planned for a future date and friends and family will be invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either of the organizations below:
