Obituary of Linda Katharine Helms

Linda Katharine Helms (“Gram”) passed away at her home in Pittsboro, NC on May 1, 2023 from complications from pulmonary fibrosis. She was 80.

She is survived by her husband Rex Helms, her son Brian Hilligoss, her step-daughter Tammy Osborne, her step-son Michael Helms, her grand-daughters Janna Coleman, Mariah Coleman, Addie Coleman, Caroline Osborne, Laura Osborne, Amelia Osborne, and Sophie Helms, her sister Mae Garrett, and many loved family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM the same day. Both the visitation and funeral service will be held at Walker’s Funeral Home, 204 N. Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278.
