Obituary of Geneva Olive

Geneva Grasty Olive, 85, passed away on May 22, 2023, at the Alamance County Hospice Home. She was born on March 1, 1938, in Waynesville, NC to the late Clearsie Mae Grasty and Erastus Grasty. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Cynthia Olive Williams of Mebane, NC, and Mona Lisa Olive of Virginia, a granddaughter, Victoria Leigh Williams and her husband Joseph DiRienzo of Holly Springs, NC, and a great-granddaughter, Addison Leigh DiRienzo. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Olive was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Olive; her sister, Bobbie Underwood, and brothers, Joseph Grasty and Wayne Grasty. She will be missed by all who knew her and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Per Mrs. Olive’s request, there will be no formal memorial services held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
