It’s hard to believe my grandma is gone I’ll miss all your laughs and late night movie nights we would have just enjoying each other’s company going to Walmart and even spending a week at your house just to hang out with one another and especially talking about God and his love with one another I’ll miss you grandma very much rest easy your sweet soul I will love you forever I won’t forget all the memories we made I’m glad you got to see all the accomplishments I made I enjoyed all the family dinners we would have with everyone and you always sitting beside me especially getting to pick on you for fun and hearing your laugh your laugh was so wholesome and contagious I’ll never forget that either love you always grandma never forgotten

Shane you and your family are all in my thoughts and prayers. I just found out Dot passed away what a shock to us all. I had the pleasure of meeting Dot at Blue Cross back in the 80's she was a wonderful coworker and one of the most fun loving people I had the pleasure of working with and knowing. We have laughed to cried together and shared many many memories together. I cannot imagine what you are going through my hear breaks for all of you. Heaven gained an angel and we lost one. Until we meet againDot my friend I love you and thanks for all the memories

I worked with Dot for many years at BCBSNC. One thing was evident from the moment I met her. She cared. She cared about her family and friends. She cared about her work colleagues and her work. She worried about everyone else and herself last. If you knew Dot, you knew someone special in your life that cared about you. I will miss her smile and laugh the most.

Having known Dot as a colleague and friend, this loss feels terrible. She was a jovial person who made everyone around feel comfortable and happy. Her love and all her personal gifts will be missed by my kids and family.

I’m so very sorry to hear that Dot has passed away. Heaven definitely received an Angel. Dot and I shared several years of interaction raising our sons Shane & Troy. Shane was one of my other sons, and Dot and I stayed steady on our sons. She was a great Momma, and a good friend. Prayers for everyone R.I.P. Dot

I am so terribly sorry to hear Dot had passed. I just saw her at my house about a month ago. My prayers go out to Buster, Shane and the grandkids. I babysat for Dot's kids many many times. I loved her and she will be missed!!!

I worked with Dot her last 15yrs at Blue Cross and it was never a dull moment with her. She had a big heart, bigger smile, an infectious laugh and LOVED her family. But my fondest memory was her last day at work which was her retirement party and Carson coming to support her. Him being there meant so much to her and he even stayed the remaining of the day with the FEP Support team at her old desk. I love you so much, rest in peace until we meet again.

It is with a saddened heart I bid my dearest friend farewell. Our friendship started at BCBS Dot was a warm, funny, beautiful inside and out. She put a smile on everyone's face and she never met a stranger. She had a joyful outlook on life and to know her was to love her. I am lucky to have had such a wonderful friend. The memories of our times spent together will live on in my heart forever. My heart goes out to family during this tough time.

I met Dot whe she came to work at BlueCross. We became great friends throughout our years there. I came remember how funny she was. She loved to laugh and just love life itself. She was a kind and loving person. Heaven diffently has gained an angel. Rest in peace Dot. Prayers to the family.
