My dad was a family man at heart, everything he did, thought about was how to enable and make our lives easier. He loved my mom very much, they had just celebrated 45 years together and were truly best friends and companions. They did everything together. He spared little time for himself until retirement. He was always up for a good joke, telling stories, conversations overall with others and especially seeing and conversing with our friends as we have grown through the years.
One thing I can say about my dad, is he always thought of others, he would always say “you have to consider that you don’t know what anyone is going through, so don’t judge, or be upset if someone says something rude etc”…..that forever has remained with me and I look “at the other side” so to speak in my approach in life as well. On that note I will leave you all with one of his favorite quotes of “don’t worry, be happy”.
