Obituary of Ozzie Daniel Carver

MEBANE - Mr. Ozzie Daniel Carver, 79, of 307 W. McKinley Street, Mebane, NC, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 in UNC Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Carver was born on April 23, 1933 in Person County, NC, son of the late Dameron and Addie Palmer Carver. He was a retired employee of Kingsdown after 27 years as a inspector and mender. Ozzie is survived by his wife: Rosalene Moore Carver; daughter: Cynthia C. King (Michael) of Mebane; brother: Bobby E. Carver (Dorothy Bass) of Rougemont; sister: Edith C. Black (Joe Carver) of Timberlake; granddaughter: Stacy K. Davis (Adam) of Fairbanks, AK; great- granddaughter: Sophia Davis also survives. He was preceded in death by one sister: Frances Rowland. Memorial services will held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, June 27th at the home, 307 W. McKinley Street, Mebane. Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane, 304 W.
