Obituary of Ann P. Hoover

Ann P. Hoover (Powell), 76, of Chapel Hill, NC, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, in her home in Chapel Hill, NC.
 

A memorial service will be held at La Residence, 202 W Rosemary St, Chapel Hill, NC 27516 on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Walker’s Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Ann Hoover was born in Lenoir, NC to Frank Dula and Lorene Powell on May 30, 1947. She went to high school at West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC. She worked as a Telemetry Technician for UNC Hospital for 22 years. She enjoyed being with friends and family.
 

Ann is survived by her children Kathy Mills, Olivia Johnson, and Loree Perry. Her grandchildren  Catlin Hoover, Julia Mills, Mason Hackney, and her great-granddaughter Hallie Beam. Ann is also survived by her sisters Mary Coley, Frances Gualtieri, Susan Miller, and Patty Helms.  She is preceded in death by her sister Jackie Derey.
