I am so sorry for your loss. I work at Paws4ever and Jennifer and I started at the same time, summer of 2018. She was genuine and that's what I loved the most, she was real with you and that is not easy to find in a person. We laughed together each time we saw each other and I can't say enough what those laughs meant to me. We talked about her dogs and her cats, especially when Annie was young and driving her nuts like puppies tend to do - we were a support system for each other, no judgement, just support. One of my favorite things about her was how every time she came into the shelter she would say, "I know you can hear me before you see me!". My office was down the hallway and I always knew it was her coming in because I could hear her - we laughed about that a lot. My other favorite thing about her was her woodworking - she made such neat things! She gave us three trees during the holiday season a few years back and this past holiday season she made a gnome for the front desk of the shelter - so cool! She made one for me personally which I keep on my desk. It was such a nice gift and I am so glad I have that piece of her. Jennifer was amazing and there is a HUGE hole in many lives without her here. We all miss her and we are all grateful to have known her.
