Obituary of Millard David Flanagan

MEBANE - Mr. Millard David Flanagan, 73, of 526 N. Carr Street, Mebane died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Flanagan was born on January 6, 1939 in Clarksburg, WV, son of the late Millard Ray and Helen Wagner Flanagan. Millard was retired from Cortina Fabrics as a truck driver. He attended Tabernacle Baptist Church of Mebane. He is survived by his wife: Shirley " Tina" Flanagan of the home; sons: James R. Davisson (Candy) of Crestview, Fl, Scott L. Davisson (Sharon) of Flemming, OH, and John B. Davisson of Vienna, WV; daughters: Lois S. Ladd (Jeff) of Haw River, Lisa D. Hayes (Dave) of Broken Arrow, OK, Davona L. McCallum(Richard) of Mebane, and April F. Campbell (Aaron) of Burlington; brother: John Flanagan ( Dee) of Clarksburg, WV; sisters: Carol Morlock of Clarksburg, WV, Janet Pritt of Nutter Fort, WV, Rae Lou Kovar (Felix) of Clarksburg, WV, and Marsha Buckhannon (Tim) of Demham Springs, LA: 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren also survives. He was preceded in death by 1 grandson, James Robert Davisson,III. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 16th at Tabernacle Baptist Church of Mebane by the Pastor John Sellew.
