Obituary of Zeke Elijah King
Please share a memory of Zeke to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
With complete sorrow, but full of the joyful memories we have, we share the passing of our beloved baby Zeke Elijah King, who brought immense joy and love into our lives during his brief time on earth.
Born on January 5, 2024, Zeke’s smile lit up the room and his laughter was contagious, spreading happiness to everyone he met. Though his time with us was short, Zeke filled our lives with a lifetime of memories. He lived his little life with health issues he suffered but you would never know because he was full of joy, curiosity, and an endless capacity for love.
Zeke’s favorite moments were spent in the arms of his parents, Camryn and Hunter King, and his grandparents, Lori and Rob King, where he found comfort and security. His bright eyes and smile would light up at the sight of his family. He loved balloons, long baths, shiny lights and kitty cats.
Zeke is survived by his loving parents, Camryn and Hunter King; his doting grandparents, Lori and Rob King; his great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished every moment spent with him. Although Zeke’s life was short, his impact on those who loved him will last forever.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the first responders and medical professionals who provided exceptional care and support for Zeke.
A memorial service to celebrate Zeke’s life will be held on Sunday, July 28th at 2:00 pm at Binkley Baptist Church, 1712 Willow Drive, Chapel Hill. Walkers Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Zeke’s memory to The American Heart Association or the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, to honor the joy and light he brought into our lives.
Though Zeke is no longer with us, his beautiful spirit will live on in our hearts forever. He taught us how to smile and to look for the good in all moments in life. We find comfort in knowing that he knew nothing but love while he was with us, and that he will forever be without sickness, pain or suffering.
