Obituary of Eloise Womble Latta

HILLSBOROUGH - Mrs. Eloise Womble Latta, 91, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Fannie Womble. She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 63 years and 10 months, Lantham Edwards Latta and brother, Wilson Womble. She was a member of Pleasant Green Methodist Church for 25 years. She then married Lantham Latta and has been a member of Hillsborough Presbyterian Church for 66 years. She is survived by her five children: Paul Latta (Janice), Mark Latta (Shari), Frank Latta (Cynthia), Lois Everett (Don), and Joan Chambers (Bobby); 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and nephew Don Womble (Nita). The memorial service will be held May 31, 2012 at 2:00 pm, with visitation to follow at the Hillsborough Presbyterian Church. The service will be conducted by Dr. Bob Brizendine and Rev. Lee Ray Greene. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hillsborough Presbyterian Church. Arrangements were made by Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough. www.walkersfuneralservice.com
