Obituary of Margaret Cates

Margaret Wilson Cates, 83, of Hillsborough, NC sadly left us on July 25th, 2024 at 10:41am while fighting complications from gastrointestinal cancer at Duke University Hospital. She was born near Boone, NC, but moved to Hillsborough, NC as a youngster with her parents and siblings. She is survived by a son, James, and two grandsons, Jamie and Dillon; and also she is survived by one brother, Thomas Wilson and his four children. Margaret enjoyed to watch primetime tv, the news, and horse racing. She would dedicate her skills towards playing  crossword and sudoku. She also loved to take care of and hang out with her pet kitty cats. She is forever loved by her family and will be very missed.
