Obituary of Drew Allen Tarlton

HILLSBOROUGH - Mr. Drew Allen Tarlton, Sr. "Dickie" passed away March 25th, after a brief illness. He was born on April14, 1938 in Rowan County, son of the late Vernon Eural and Lela Peck Tarlton. He was employed with the City of Durham for 30 years as an electrician. He is survived by his wife: Faye Womble Tarlton, and his son; Drew Allen Tarlton, Jr. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 28th at Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough by the Rev. Cindy Lister. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 PM prior to the services and other times at the residence of Douglas and Teresa Hackler, 823 Brookhollow Road, Efland, NC. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Duke Hospital and Duke Hospice for their care given to Drew. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at the Meadowland, 1001 Corporate Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278 Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough (919) 732-2121 is assisting the Tarlton family.
