Obituary of Peggy West Hartley

MEBANE - Mrs. Peggy West Hartley, 81, of 712 N. Wilba Road, Mebane, NC, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Hartley was born on December 8, 1930 in Alamance County, NC, daughter of the late William Harvey and Mable Clayton West. She was retired from Duke Medical Center and was a member of East Alamance Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband: Jimmy Ray Hartley; daughter: Lori H. Mullis of Mebane; son: Stephen Ray Hartley of Mebane; sister: Clara W. Dollar of Mebane; brother: Jerry West of Burlington; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren also survives. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Katherine Anne H. Irby. Memorial services will held 7:00 pm Friday, February 24, 2012 at Mebane Street Church of Christ, 1610 N.
