Obituary of Thomas Edward Leinfelder

Thomas Edward Leinfelder, 42, of Chapel Hill, NC died on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. He was born in Port Washington, Wisconsin on December 7, 1969. Thomas is survived by his parents, Dr. Karl Francis Leinfelder and LaVonne Ida Strupp Leinfelder, and his siblings, including his brother Karl T. Leinfelder of Wake Forest, North Carolina; Kathi M. Newton of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Marcus J. Leinfelder of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Susan M. Lemire of Westby, Wisconsin, and Barbara J. Newton of Blacksburg, Virginia. He is also survived by his two step children Sara Womack and Bert Trotman of Birmingham, Alabama. The family will conduct the funeral on Friday, February 17th at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Thomas was a loving husband to Becca, and a devoted father to his step children, Sara and Bert. He absolutely loved to be able to build anything. Just like his brothers and sisters, he enjoyed owning and working on Mustangs. His laugh was contagious. But his time with us was too short.
