My deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with Gerald's family. Gerald was my "lunch buddy" at MCNC. He had a sunny personality and could always be counted on for a laugh or smile. I was blessed to have him as a friend, he will be missed in this life.

We are so sorry to hear of Gerald's passing. He had a trailer 3 doors down from us at North Myrtle Beach for several years and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Gerald and Terry. We are avid TarHeel fans also so we always enjoyed sharing our love of UNC with Gerald. We share our deepest sympathy with your family.

I was extremely hurt to hear of the passing of Gerald. We had recently discussed getting together for lunch to talk about old times. He was a true friend and a joy to be around. I will always remember how he joked around with everyone. He really knew how to make you laugh. I feel very fortunate to have known him. He was liked by all who knew him and we were all very fortunate to have been a small part of his life. My condolences to all of his family.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Gerald at RTI, and it was always a bright part of my day when he would stop in with our lab deliveries. He always had a smile, a joke, and was ready to talk UNC basketball with a Duke fan. Gerald is one of those people who brightened your day when you so needed a lift. He will be fondly remembered.

Gerald was always a great person to be around. He seemed to never be without a smile or laugh. He loved his family dearly and loved life. I am truly blessed to have known him pretty much all of my life. He always made me smile.
Gerald, we'll miss you. Say "Hi" and give my mom a big hug and kiss for me. Give your lovely wife the same for me. I miss her too! Love you.

I am saddened to hear of Gerald's passing. As a young girl, I remember "baby-sitting" the children. Time moves on...loved ones leave us. I know Gerald is in Heaven with his beloved Terri, Mama Biscuit, Skatter and many others as well as with my Mama and Daddy. It was a priviledge to have known him and to have been a small part of his life. May God bless his family.
