To the Sechriest family: Growing up in Chapel Hill, in the 40s and 50s, I knew Stewart well as he was a very good friend of my father, Roy Armstrong. I fondly remember Stewart and my father trading witty barbs. He was the advisor to a fellow student at UNC; he told his record looked like "twelves miles of bad road." Mary and Liz: I remember visiting with Ryan, Paul, Alden, Hunter and Karson. Stuart showed us the plaque in the garden for your mother. He was so entertaining and full of wisdom.
