Obituary of William Buchanan

MEBANE - William "Freddie" Buchanan, 68, of 416 N. Third St. Mebane, NC died suddenly on Saturday, September 10, 2011. The son of the late Fred William Buchanan and Lucy Ann Mozingo. Freddie was a true Mebanite. He loved everything about the Mebane Community, and the Mebane Community loved Freddie. Freddie is predeceased by his father and mother; two brothers, Robert Branch and Gene Branch; and one sister in law, Jenny Branch. Freddie is survived by his loving wife Susie of the home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at 11:00AM at Mebane Wesleyan Church, 101 E Crawford St. Mebane, NC 27302. Interment will follow at Lighthouse Baptist Church Cemetery in Mebane. A reception at Mebane Wesleyan Church will take place after interment. Memorials may be made to Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane, 304 W. Center St. Mebane, NC 27302. Walker's Funeral Home is assisting the Buchanan family.
