Obituary of Willie Clay Lloyd

Carrboro- Willie Clay "WC" Lloyd Jr, 76 , died Saturday Aug. 13, 2011 surrounded by members of his family following an extended illness. WC was born in Halifax, VA but lived his entire adult life in Carrboro, NC after his family relocated to the area when he was a child. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bessie Heath Lloyd; children, Janice Sanders and her husband Raeford of Apex, Frances Thacker of Burlington, Nancy Ray and her husband Tim of Chapel Hill, Jimmy Lloyd and his wife Laverne of Gibsonville and Tony Lloyd of Hillsborough; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2pm Monday, August 15th at the Hillsborough Church of God by Reverend Dale Morgan. Burial will be at Westwood Cemetary in Carrboro, NC The family will receive visitors Sunday from 6 until 8 pm at the Hillsborough Church of God. Walker's Funeral Home is serving the Lloyd family.
