Obituary of Margaret H. Cleary

MEBANE - Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth "Lib" Hinson Cleary, 87, of Mebane died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at The Oaks of Alamance following an extended illness. She was born on October 24, 1925 in Gaston County, the daughter of the late Doris William and Fallie Barneycastle Hinson. She was the widow of the late Charlie Odell Cleary. She retired from Amphenol of Durham. Mrs. Cleary is survived by her daughter: Barbara Cleary Sheets and husband, David of Hillsborough: sons: Doris Deverne Cleary of Mooresville, Charlie Edward Cleary and wife, Martha of Hillsborough, and Robert Lester Cleary of Cape Carteret: sister: Thelma Hinson George and husband, James of Raleigh; grandchildren: Douglas Cleary, Erma Cleary, John Cleary, Sharon Cleary, Tanya Cleary, Krystal Sheets Peters, Charlene Cleary Taylor, and Kelly Cleary; great-grandchildren: Zachary Cleary, Sarah Cleary, Stephanie Cleary, Regina Cleary, Jalen Peters, Tomas Macario, Manuel Macario and Peyton Cleary. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsborough by Chaplain Steve Flint. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:45 PM Saturday prior to the services at Walker's Funeral Home and other times at the home of Barbara and David Sheets, 4212 New Hope Springs Drive, Hillsborough, NC.
