My husband knew Frank and who didn't love Frank ? I never saw anyone enjoy what they did more than him.I'd watch him on tv with the fishing and in the morning cooking with his wife and just all the things he did he put his heart into and I know hew ill be missed.My husband and I extend our condolences to the family. I remember Mr Davis and the men of Fairview Church taking the young men of the church on camping and fishing outings many years ago when I was growing up in Fairview. He taught all of us a lot back in those days. These days I still think of Frank Davis whenever I'm enjoying the great outdoors. I grew up in the same Fairview neighborhood with the Davis and Berry boys, and I remember going target shooting and camping with Mr. Davis and his sons. He taught me a lot in those times. He treated me as his own and wasn't afraid to point me in the right direction when appropriate. This world needs more men like Frank Davis. Margi and I extend our sincere condolences to the Davis family, particularly Wayne and Sylvia who are good friends. We never had the privilege of meeting other members of the Davis family. Wayne and I (Bill) were faculty colleagues in the UTK College of Engineering for many years. Wayne is doing an outstanding job leading the College of Engineering as Dean.
