Dear Family of Thomas Lloyd Jr.
I read about the loss of your loved one in the paper and felt compelled to write. I know the pain and heartache your feeling as I lost my mother seven years age to a massive stroke. Even tho it's been seven years, it seems the pain of such a loss never goes away. Death really makes the heart ache. No wonder the Bible refers to it as an enemy! (1 Corinthians 15:26) We all find ourselves asking,"why do we have to suffer, get sick, grow old and eventually die?" Is that all three is to life? In answer to these questions, we are personally invited by our loving and compassionate Heavenly Father, to look to Him and His word the Bible. So, let's do that. Because of our inherited sin and imperfection thru Adam and Eve, we are plagued with sickness and death. This is found in the Bible book of Romans, the 5TH. Chapter and verse 12. But, God in His Almighty wisdom, made a way out of this doom and gloom for mankind. God wants life for us. A happy, healthy, eternal life. So, God made a provision. He sent His Son, Christ Jesus as a ransom sacrifice so that all those who put faith in that provision might enjoy Gods promise of everlasting life. This promise from God is found John 3:16 &36. Christ Jesus was willing to sacrifice His life for mankind. What love He and His Heavenly Father have for us!! Our God of mercy has even promised us a resurrection of our loved ones as shown in the Bible Book of John 5:28 &29. Yes, in this life, we do have much hope for the future. Revelation 21: 1-4 tells us that the time will come when we will no more fear death or endure pain. God will soon wipe these out forever. Then we will only have tears of joy as we welcome our loved back from deaths grip. I myself have found great comfort in this knowledge and I'm sure you do too. What a joy it will be to see our loved ones again!! May this bring you and your family peace and comfort in your time of grief. If you care to respond, I would love to hear from you. God Bless,
Janet Mitchell

To the Family of Thomas Lloyd:
I am so sorry for your loss and it is times like these that can cause one to reflect--Is this life all there is? Really the life we have now is not what God intended for mankind to have in the beginning before Adam and Eve sinned. To find out why God's purpose was interrrupted and to know when the "real life"(1 Tim 6:19) is to come when God will restore his original purpose to the earth where there will be no more death (Rev 21:3-5) and those who have died will be resurrected (John 5:28) and live again, it is important to take time and study the scriptures. This will give you a lot of hope and comfort. (John 17:3) (Psalms 37:9-11,29)

I am sorry to hear of your loss. The death of a loved one is one of the most devastating experiences a human can face. At times, the loss can seem unbearable. The Bible promises: "God is near to those broken at heart." It also says: "Throw your burden upon God himself and he himself will sustain you." (Psalm 34:18 and 55:22) I hope th is message will help you cope with the loss of your loved one.

Sheryl and Earl, I was so sorry to see that T.W. had passed away. He and your Mom were such a great couple and I know that they are together again, laughing and catching up. Please know that you guys are in our thoughts and prayers. I know the pain you're going through. I remember someone saying you never really grow up until you have lost both your parents. I guess that's why I feel like a 65 year old orphan. May God give you strength to get you through the journey ahead and please know that you're in our thoughts and prayers. God bless.
