Obituary of Betty Reinhardt McClintock

Betty Reinhardt McClintock, 85, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Wesley Pines in Lumberton, North Carolina. 

She was born in Kinston, North Carolina on September 1, 1934 to the late Joseph S. Reinhardt and Ruby Williams Reinhardt.  Betty was a graduate of Chowan University.  She retired from the ABC Board in Greensboro after 30+ years.  She was an avid Carolina fan and devoted her life to her husband and children.  In her later years she spent her time taking care of her grandchildren and children.  She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughters Traci McClintock Vaughn (Mark), and Kristen McClintock Stone (Philip); grandchildren Hannah Vaughn, Connor Vaughn, Lexi Stone, Payne Stone, and Grace Stone; brother Harvey Reinhardt; sisters Joan Reinhardt, Mary Roberts, Lucy (Tom) Evans, sister-in-law Sybil McClintock and Pat Day, brother-in-law Bill (Bonnie) McClintock.  Also surviving are niece Jennifer (Scott) Biron; nephews Tommy (Jen) Evans, David Roberts, Bryan (Malgosia) Roberts, Don (Mary) McClintock, Keith (Amy McClintock), Bill McClintock, Kyle McClintock, Patrick Day, Brenon (Janet) Day, Forest Day; many special great-nieces and great-nephews; and special long-time friend Marilyn Guthrie. 

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lewis McClintock; father-in-law William Bell McClintock; mother-in-law Leslie Mabe McClintock; brother-in-law James Donald McClintock; and close friend of the family Lora Kernodle.

There will be a graveside service Staurday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00am at Hillsborough Town Cemetery, 115 E Corbin St., Hillsborough, NC.
