I remember Thomas from when I was a child. He was always in the front row at Sunday mass at the Newman Center in Chapel Hill. I was taken by his participation in the service then — and now, 30 years later, I’m still taken! Thank you, Thomas, for using your voice and computer expertise to make our community better. I, for one, am grateful. Rest In Peace.

It was an honor to know and work with Thomas. I'm thankful for how much I learned about myself through working with him, and in turn bettered myself because of it. There are others who I have heard share their being blessed with this same experience in working with Thomas. He was and still is an inspiration to so many who have learned about his life. I am proud to say we called each other "friend" and were always glad to be assigned to one another for a shift. Along with anyone else who knew him, I will miss him dearly.
